Medicare Rebates
If you have a referral from your GP or specialist, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates to help reduce the cost of sessions.
Available pathways include:
-
Provides access to rebated psychology sessions for a range of mental health concerns.
-
For clients with a relevant referral and diagnostic criteria, offering rebates for developmental and behavioural support.
-
Supports individuals experiencing eating disorders, with access to an extended number of rebated sessions each year.
After each appointment, you can submit your rebate claim online through your MyGov account. I’ll provide you with all the information needed to complete the claim easily.
If you’re unsure which plan you might be eligible for, I’m happy to guide you through the options.
NDIS Funding
I provide services for clients who are self-managed or plan-managed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This allows for flexible access to psychological support tailored to your individual needs.
NDIS funding can often be used for:
-
Sessions focus on understanding identity, navigating neurodivergence, strengthening communication skills, and supporting emotional and behavioural needs. This may also include exploring masking, burnout, sensory differences, and the development of self-advocacy skills.
-
This may include understanding emotions, reducing overwhelm, navigating sensory needs, building routines that actually work for the individual, and developing practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, or shutdowns. Sessions can focus on strengthening coping skills, improving communication, and building confidence in handling everyday challenges—always tailored to the person’s neurotype and capacity.
-
I work with parents, carers, and families to deepen their understanding of a child or teen’s needs, explore supportive communication strategies, and create home environments that prioritise connection over compliance. This may involve guidance for PDA profiles, emotional regulation challenges, sibling dynamics, or navigating school and system barriers.
-
Together, we identify strengths, needs, and goals—whether that’s improving executive functioning, building social confidence, managing sensory load, or increasing independence in daily tasks. Therapy focuses on practical, realistic strategies that support long-term wellbeing and self-trust.
At this time, I am not able to see agency-managed clients.
If you’re unsure whether psychological support fits within your plan, I’m happy to help you understand your options and determine how therapy can align with your goals.
Private Sessions
You’re welcome to book sessions privately without needing a referral from a GP or specialist. Private sessions offer full flexibility in the type of support you receive and the length of time we work together, without the requirements or limits that come with Medicare or other funding pathways.
Private therapy may be a good fit if you:
Prefer not to involve Medicare or don’t meet eligibility criteria
Have private health insurance with psychology cover
Want greater flexibility with the focus, frequency, or duration of sessions
Need sessions for both yourself and a family member without navigating multiple referral pathways
Payment is made at the time of the session, and receipts are provided for your records. If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim a rebate depending on your cover.
If you’re unsure whether private sessions are right for your situation, I’m happy to talk through options and help you choose the pathway that fits best.

Payment is required on the day of each appointment, whether for private sessions, Medicare sessions, or NDIS (self- or plan-managed) sessions. Invoices and receipts are provided for all sessions, including the information you’ll need to claim rebates through Medicare, NDIS, or private health insurance where applicable.
If a payment is missed, a reminder will be sent. I understand that life can be unpredictable, and circumstances don’t always go as planned. If you are concerned about your ability to pay for sessions, please discuss this with me before your appointment. I am happy to work with you to find a more sustainable or manageable option.
Please note that if an invoice remains unpaid, your next appointment may be cancelled. Repeated missed payments may result in your sessions being paused or discontinued at the clinician’s discretion.
-
At this time, I do not offer bulk billing. Clients are responsible for session fees, but may be eligible for rebates through Medicare pathways.
-
Cancellations made within 48 hours of an appointment may incur a fee (up to 100% of the session cost).
All cancellations must be requested in writing (text or email). This helps ensure I receive your request, and that sessions can be reallocated to other clients when possible.
If you cancel or miss three or more sessions, your ongoing therapy may be paused or discontinued at the clinician’s discretion. Therapy is a significant commitment, and it is important that all participants attend sessions consistently to achieve meaningful progress.
If you have questions about fees, rebates, or funding options, I’m happy to discuss them before your first session to help you choose the pathway that works best for your circumstances.
